This is how to get Shiny Eevee with flower crown
What do you need to do? At stage 4 of the new special research, you are guaranteed to get a Shiny Eevee. That’s pretty cool, but if you participated in the Community Day in August 2018, you should already have enough Shinies of that.
Once you have completed all tasks of stage 4, you do not claim the reward right away, but let the research rest for a while. You should pick up the Shiny Eevee at a later time.
Here you can get the rare Shiny: Players with a ticket for the GO Fest in Dortmund won’t have to wait too long. There, just like at the event in Chicago, the Eevee with flower crown will probably be available.
When you then pick up the Eevee from the special research on your event day at the GO Fest, it should also wear a flower crown. So you are guaranteed to get the rare Shiny.
Can it be done without the GO Fest? Currently, there is no other event where the Eevee with flower crown is announced. However, it will surely return again. So it doesn’t hurt if you save your Shiny Eevee from the special research until an event with this Eevee starts.
As soon as such an event is running, you will also be able to get the Shiny Eevee with flower crown.
What you need to watch out for: You must not have started the encounter with Eevee yet and then just press flee. As soon as you see the Eevee from the quest for the first time, you determine what kind of Eevee it is. So do not click on the encounter at all.
How long can I wait with Eevee? The special research only runs until September 2nd, but by then you only need to have started. At stage 4, you can wait as long as you want.
