Trainers in Pokémon TCG Pocket can look forward to December, as there are set to be 3 new events. A data miner claims to have discovered which new events players can expect. MeinMMO summarizes the rewards for you.
What kind of events are these? In December, there will be 3 new events related to the PvE mode, the Wonder Choice, and the PvP mode.
- As with the Lapras ex event, there will be a PvE event in December, where players this time have to face Venusaur ex.
- The Wonder Choice previously featured Meowth and Chansey more frequently. In December, you will encounter Bulbasaur and Magnemite more often in this mode.
- The PvP event currently requires you to win matches. In December, you will face players again, but the conditions will be different this time.

The 3 Events in December at a Glance
PvE Event with Venusaur ex
What kind of event is this? Players must win against different decks that use Bulbasaur and its evolutions. They face not other players, but a CPU opponent. There are four different decks competing, increasing in difficulty. According to Reddit, the event is set to run from November 29 at 7:00 AM to December 13 at 6:59 AM.
What rewards are available? The following rewards are offered for defeating a deck for the first time:
- Bulbasaur Deck: 2 Pack Hourglasses, 50 Stardust, 1 Shop Ticket, 25 Experience Points
- Venusaur & Scyther Deck: 4 Pack Hourglasses, 100 Stardust, 1 Shop Ticket, 50 Experience Points
- Venusaur ex Deck: 6 Pack Hourglasses, 150 Stardust, 1 Shop Ticket, 75 Experience Points
- Venusaur ex & Dressel Deck: 8 Pack Hourglasses, 200 Stardust, 1 Shop Ticket, 100 Experience Points
Additionally, for every victory (even after the first time defeating the deck), there is a 39% chance of getting a “Promo Pack A Series 2” card, 25 Stardust, and a Shop Ticket. The promo cards are expected to include Venusaur (Full Art), Greninja, Haunter, Onix, and Jigglypuff.
Wonder Choice with Bulbasaur and Magnemite
What kind of event is this? Starting from December 6, Bulbasaur and Magnemite are set to appear in the Wonder Choice. If it runs like with Meowth and Chansey, you will have access to Wonder Choices at specific times, where you can acquire both Pokémon cards of Bulbasaur and Magnemite.
What rewards are available? No official rewards have been announced yet. Presumably, there will again be Stardust and Wonder Hourglasses as rewards. There may even be new card sleeves, coins, and more available in the in-game shop.
PvP Event with New Emblems
What kind of event is this? The PvP mode will also be supplied with a new event in December. However, this time it is not about winning matches against players: Instead, you must ensure you achieve a winning streak without it being interrupted by losses.
What rewards are available? No official rewards have been announced yet. Presumably, there will again be special emblems that you can use to decorate your profile.
