The collectible card game Pokémon TCG Pocket has introduced its next booster with “Mythical Island”. You can read what is included and what to expect on MeinMMO.
What kind of booster is this? With “Mythical Island”, Pokémon TCG Pocket has presented its latest booster. This will provide you with a number of new cards for games against AI and human opponents in the future. In advance, there were leaks and rumors surrounding the new expansion.
What is included? The new booster “Mythical Island” comes with the following content:
- 80 new cards
- 5 new EX cards. These are particularly powerful cards in the game.
- 5 Trainer cards
- several so-called Alt-Arts: These are cards where the design evolves across the entire card. These cards are unique but not stronger than the normal cards. Therefore, they are more like alternatives to the regular cards.

What could be seen? In the trailer, you could see the new “Mew ex” and “Aerodactyl ex,” among other things. We also got a glimpse of the Alt-Arts of Dedenne, Vaporeon, and Marshadow.
Normal cards for “Serpifeu” and “Ignivor” were also shown, whose evolutions “Serpiroyal” and “Ramoth” could receive interesting cards.

When will the booster be released? The new booster “Mythical Island” will officially be released in the game on December 17, 2024. It is not yet known how large the update will be. It is also unknown whether there will be just one booster or multiple ones.
