Pokémon TCG Pocket will continue to be supplied with new content in the future. This includes fresh boosters, events, and the release of the trading function. When what will be released is revealed in a new announcement.
What is coming? In a new message to the fans, the team behind Pokémon TCG Pocket thanks so many players for giving the mobile game a chance. There will also be new content and events in the future. They have not yet revealed what those events will be.
However, the known content includes:
- There will be new boosters. Currently, players only have three packs with Charizard, Mewtwo, and Pikachu to choose from. Which new Pokémon will be added has not been disclosed.
- Players are also eagerly awaiting the trading function to exchange their duplicate cards with others and receive new ones that they do not yet own.
Additionally, other features are in development, but they will only be revealed once their final release is confirmed.

The roadmap of Pokémon TCG Pocket at a glance
When will the new things come out? The development team only revealed when the new boosters and the trading function will be released. However, players will not have to wait long for the new features to appear:
- The new boosters are expected to arrive by the end of the year, that is, by December 31, 2024.
- The trading function is set to arrive in January 2025. However, it will not be fully activated yet.
What about the trading function? In January 2025, trading is expected to work in a limited way. Only certain cards will be able to be traded with other players. The team plans to gradually expand the selection.
What do others think about it? Players are disappointed that not all cards can be traded at the beginning. In the Reddit forum, many users write that it is a shame and they are disappointed not to be able to complete their collection through trading.
Other fans are more optimistic. One user says he does not understand why people are stressing. Presumably, only the extremely rare crown cards and the promo cards will be affected by the trading limitations.
In the past, some fans have complained about the current PvP event. One thing particularly bothers them, which is actually quite natural in a TCG: Pokémon TCG Pocket brings PvP event, but players are already annoyed by one thing
