You can purchase the Premium Pass in Pokémon TCG Pocket for a monthly fee. We have looked into what is included.
In Pokémon TCG Pocket, you can experience all functionalities and areas of the game without using real money. However, you have the option to purchase the Premium Pass.
We have compiled for you what the pass costs and what content it provides.
All content of the Premium Pass
How much does the Premium Pass cost? If you decide to purchase the Premium Pass, it will cost you 9.99 € per month. This is a subscription that you can cancel every month. You must do this 24 hours before the Premium Pass expires.
Is the Premium Pass free? If you have not tried the Premium Pass yet, you can test it for free for 2 weeks. Be sure to cancel it in time, as failing to do so will turn the free trial into a regular, paid subscription.
What content is available in the Premium Pass? If you have the Premium Pass, you can open a third booster pack in addition to the 2 daily boosters. This allows you to open a total of 3 boosters every 24 hours.
Additionally, there are extra missions for Pass owners called Premium missions. For completing these, you will receive so-called “Premium Tickets”.
You can then exchange these in the Premium Shop for various rewards. Currently, you can get a promo card as well as various items. They include the following:
- Pikachu Promo Card (009/P-A): 1 Ticket
- Mewtwo Coin: 6 Tickets
- Mewtwo Playmat: 12 Coins
- Mewtwo Card Sleeves: 6 Coins
- Mewtwo Background: 3 Coins
- Mewtwo Cover: 3 Coins
The selection of items will change in the future, allowing for more items to be available later. Which items those will be is not yet known.
Where can I get the Premium Pass? If you want to purchase the Premium Pass, go to the first tab in the app, where you also find the boosters to open and the Wonder Choice. Click on the small Pass next to your avatar at the top right. Here you will find the option to order the Premium Pass.
Is the Premium Pass worth it? Whether the pass is worth it for you is something you have to decide for yourself. If you are willing to spend some money on the game and want to have all the cards as quickly as possible, then purchasing the pass might be worthwhile.
If you are patient and do not mind whether your collection is completed sooner or later, you can also open your 2 boosters daily without the pass and eventually acquire all the cards over time.
You will not receive the promo cards in the Premium Shop this way. To complete certain missions, like the one about the secret Mew, you do not need these promo cards.
