A feature in Pokémon TCG Pocket has been long awaited by players and was finally introduced recently. However, the implementation has met with outrage from many. Now, the developers are responding with a gift and promising improvement.
What is this feature? Players are not satisfied with the trading function in Pokémon TCG Pocket. In order to trade at all, you need trading tokens, which you can obtain by “recycling” cards among other methods.
However, not all cards can be used for this: only cards with 3 ♢ or more can be used for trading. Additionally, you need trading stamina. If you run out of that, you can replenish your stamina using trading hourglasses.

The trading function is thus complicated by three currencies and restrictions. Players criticized the details of trading and even wealthy players avoided the function.
Developers promise improvement
What do the developers say? On X, the developers posted that they are thankful for the players’ feedback and are looking for ways to improve the trading function. At the same time, they are sending all players 1,000 trading tokens as compensation.
What does the community say? Overall, the community is pleased that the developers want to revise the trading function. However, there are many voices, especially in a post on reddit, who doubt the promised improvements or question the entire system:
