The new expansion for Collision of Space and Time has launched in Pokémon TCG Pocket, but the servers are down. The mobile game tempts with free boosters, which fans unfortunately cannot claim at the moment.
Update at 08:38 AM: If you can no longer find the old boosters for
Unbeatable Genesin the main menu, don’t panic! You can find them by clicking on one of the displayed boosters and then clicking on the box

Update at 08:31 AM: The rush seems to have calmed down now. It is possible to get back into the game and claim the booster. However, expect longer loading times here.
Update on January 30 at 07:50 AM: Unfortunately, the servers are still offline. We will let you know as soon as they are online.
What is free? If you log into Pokémon TCG Pocket, a screen with a Dialga and Palkia booster from Collision of Space and Time will immediately appear. This means you can open one of the two boosters and snag the first new cards from the expansion, regardless of your remaining time and hourglasses.
However, many players are currently unable to claim their gift. Since January 30, 2025, at 7:00 AM, the new cards have been available in the game, but collectors are repeatedly being thrown out.

Collectors cannot claim cards and log into the game
What is the problem? As soon as you see the title screen, you can already tell that something is wrong. A loading sign appears here because the servers for Pokémon TCG Pocket are currently overloaded. Currently, too many players are logging in who want to start with the expansion.
An error code 102-169-014 appears, indicating:
An error occurred during data transmission. Please check your internet connection and signal strength.
However, you don’t even need to bother testing your internet connection. Instead, you will have to wait until the rush has subsided a bit. Only then can you try to claim your gifts and get started with Collision of Space and Time.
What do fans say about this? On Reddit, numerous threads are currently gathering where players cannot get into Pokémon TCG Pocket. One user asks the others to leave the game so that he can claim his free booster.
Another user writes that everyone is currently staring at the white start screen, which one is directly trapped in when opening the app. However, it may take a while for things to calm down again and for players to be able to claim their free pack. If this happens, MeinMMO will let you know.
