Spending pack points on common cards
Pack points are a currency you receive when you get multiple copies of a card. You can then spend the pack points on individual cards that are not yet in your collection. However, you shouldn’t spend them lightly.
Save your pack points and spend them either on rare EX cards or supporters like Misty or Sabrina. This way, you can save up for cards for strong decks, which are currently high on the tier list.
Ignoring PvE mode and missions
In CPU battles, you can compete against CPU opponents with your assembled deck. Various difficulty levels are available to you. By completing the battles, you can earn up to 220 pack hourglasses and shop tickets early in the game.
The same goes for the missions: Try to complete your dailies every day, collect specific card sets, and finish the events.
Switching between packs at the beginning
If you want to assemble your first strong deck for PvP or PvE, you should not switch between the three boosters. If you consistently choose the same booster, you will get cards faster that can be well combined in a deck.
Moreover, you will also earn pack points early on that you can use for other missing cards. Once you have assembled your deck for PvP or PvE mode, you can also choose the other boosters.
Conducting wonder trades without favoriting
Through the wonder trade, you can receive cards from friends that they have in their boosters. However, it is not clear which cards you already have in your collection when selecting. With so many cards, you can easily lose track, which is why you should not just blindly pick during the wonder trade.
Instead, mark all the cards you do not have. You can do this by moving the slider next to the Pokémon collection binder in the “My Cards” menu. Then, the numbers of the cards you do not have will be displayed. Save them by clicking on the respective card as “Want it!” so that they are marked with a heart during wonder trades. This way, you can easily recognize which cards you do not have yet.
