Pokémon TCG Pocket should ultimately be fun for you. Therefore, you should assemble a deck that suits your playstyle the best. Do you want to quickly take your turn and rely on Pokémon without evolution stages like Pikachu-ex? Or would you rather go for long-term effects like healing through Lapras-ex?
There is no “perfect” deck that guarantees you always win. Therefore, feel free to experiment and find out which playstyle you prefer in the trading card game.

What if I don’t feel like building a deck? With the automatic function, you can have your deck assembled based on certain elements. This way, the app will automatically take your best cards and mix them in a balanced ratio.
If you have collected many cards, you can choose the “Theme deck templates” when creating a new deck. This way, you assemble a pre-set deck that, however, is not as good as a self-constructed deck.
