Therefore, it is important to part with items that are not of the highest relevance. This way, you ensure that you have space for the truly important items and can rely on them when you need them.

Balls, Potions, Berries, and Stones in Abundance
Which balls can be discarded? If your inventory is full and you have an abundance of items, you can part with your Poké Balls. Great Balls and Ultra Balls are better suited for catching Pokémon, so you can confidently do without the classic Poké Balls.
Poké Balls are also easy to obtain from PokéStops and by spinning Gym discs in case you have parted with too many Poké Balls.

Which potions can be discarded? It is similar with regular potions and super potions. Here too, there are better alternatives with hyper and max potions, which also heal more hit points of your Pokémon and are therefore more space-efficient.
When you revive defeated Pokémon with max revives, you also do not need any additional potions to get your Pokémon back in shape.
Which berries can be discarded? For the Raspberry, there is a better alternative with the Golden Raspberry, which is not quite as easy to obtain. However, if you have more than enough Golden Raspberries, you can part with your normal ones or at least reduce the amount.
If you rarely or never use Nanab Berries, you can also reduce their quantity and thus create space in your item bag. Both Raspberries and Nanab Berries can also be quickly collected again from PokéStops and Gym discs.
Which evolution stones can be discarded? Some Pokémon require special items to evolve. These items are evolution stones, such as the Sun Stone, Sinnoh Stone, or Dragon Scale. If you have already evolved the Pokémon that require such evolution stones, you can also minimize the number you keep.
If there are events in Pokémon GO featuring Pokémon that require an evolution stone, there are always suitable stones as rewards through limited research or field research. This way, you can quickly obtain the evolution stones when needed for new Pokémon.
