In Pokémon GO the last raid hour with Darkrai takes place today, on November 4th. This is one of the best Pokémon in the game, and you should definitely take advantage of it.
What is a raid hour? This event takes place every Wednesday in Pokémon GO and increases the legendary raids in the game for one hour. Almost every gym will have a level 5 raid.
This week you can secure Darkrai for the last time. The mysterious Pokémon has returned as part of the Halloween event and will remain in raids until November 5th. Then it will be replaced by Lugia.
All info on the raid hour with Darkrai
When does the event start? It starts at 6:00 PM local time. A few minutes beforehand, the raid eggs will appear on the gyms, which will hatch precisely at 6:00 PM and remain active for one hour.
The best counters against Darkrai: The mysterious Pokémon is a Dark type. Fighting, Bug, and Fairy types are particularly effective against it. That makes these attackers particularly strong:

- Machomei with Counter and Dynamic Punch
- Hariyama with Counter and Dynamic Punch
- Kapilz with Counter and Dynamic Punch

- Lohgock with Counter and Focus Blast
- Guardevoir with Charm and Dazzling Gleam

Generally, it is important that you pay attention to the right moves for your Pokémon. It doesn’t help to use one of these monsters if it knows completely different moves.
How many trainers do you need for Darkrai? To defeat the mysterious Pokémon, you need at least three people. It might work with two, but for that, it needs to be partly cloudy in the game so that you benefit from the corresponding bonus.

Is there Shiny Darkrai? Yes, you can encounter Darkrai as Shiny.
Why should you definitely take advantage of the hour? Darkrai is by far the best Dark type attacker in Pokémon GO. It can also learn the Ghost Charged attack “Shadow Ball” and is strong as a Ghost attacker.
Dark type Pokémon can be effectively used against Psychic-type monsters, which are most commonly found in legendary raids. A good Darkrai is therefore a must for your team.
