What is Dynamax? Dynamax is the big new feature that was introduced with the new season in Pokémon GO.
For days now, trainers can visit the new power sources, collect Dyna particles, and recently also compete in the first Dyna battles.
The current bosses are:

- Glumanda
It quickly became clear: These so-called “level-1 bosses” are quite easy to defeat and are no problem even solo. Especially if other trainers have left their monsters for support.

What kind of boss is coming? Tanhel has been announced as the new Dyna battle boss in the upcoming Psychospektal event in Pokémon GO, which will take place starting September 18.
Tanhel evolves into Metang and then into Metagross, one of the best attackers in Pokémon GO. Accordingly, its Dynamax version is also likely to become a popular target.
The difficulty: Tanhel has not been announced as a “level 1 boss” like the previous ones but as a “level-3 boss.” So, the difficulty increases.
The question is: Will it be possible to defeat it as easily on your own if you face it with, for example, Wolly or Raffel? It is possible that this will not be the case.
Why Glumanda? With a Dyna Glumanda, you can improve your chances against Tanhel as soon as it appears. Because you can potentially evolve it into Glurak if Tanhel turns out to be too difficult of a boss. Glurak can master the Dynamax attack “Dyna-Flame” – and as a fire attack, it should be very effective against the steel monster Tanhel.
It is also possible that level-3 bosses in Dyna battles are also easy to defeat. But now is the opportunity to prepare for the fact that you might need a strong, highly effective monster against the upcoming boss.
