In Pokémon GO 2 Shinys will soon disappear.
The Hoenn event in Pokémon GO has also brought back Kyogre and Groudon. The two legendary monsters also appeared in their Shiny form.
However, the event surrounding the two raid bosses is coming to an end. Today, on January 29th, Kyogre and Groudon will be unavailable. You should take your chance to catch both Shinys.

How long will the two Pokémon stay? Today, at 10:00 PM, it’s the end for Kyogre and Groudon. Then, the two Pokémon will disappear for an indefinite time and make way for the next raid boss.
That’s why you should raid one more time: Kyogre and Groudon are among the best Pokémon in the game. If you don’t have one with good IVs yet, you should improve your team.
Additionally, both Pokémon are available as Shiny. When the two legendaries disappear from raids, the Shinys will disappear as well. So you should take your chance again.
When will Kyogre and Groudon return? There is no information about a return. Last time, it took almost a year for the two monsters to reappear in raids. It could well be that it will take that long again.
Who comes after the two monsters? A new legendary raid boss has not yet been announced. However, it could be the Lake Trio or Dialga and Palkia. But nothing has been confirmed yet. The announcement will probably come tomorrow at 10:00 PM.
It is also rumored that Rayquaza will return. It is the missing part of the Weather Trio and would fit well with Kyogre and Groudon.

Are Zigzagoon and Swablu disappearing too? With the end of the Hoenn event, the spawns of Generation 3 will decrease significantly. This lowers your chance of encountering shiny Swablu and Zigzagoon, as they were more common during the event. However, you will still be able to find both shiny forms in the game. The chance of finding such a shiny is typically 1 in 450.
