In Pokémon GO, the ‘Limited Study: Master Ball’ is coming to an end. If you want to complete it, you should plan accordingly.
What kind of study is this? With the start of the Season “Abundant Adventures” on September 1, 2023, the new ‘Limited Study: Master Ball’ came into play.
This is an extensive limited research that you can access in the “Today” tab. This means: Unlike special research, it is not unlimited in time but has an end date.
And that is rapidly approaching: On November 21, 2023, at 8:00 PM, it will be over. So you should check what you still need, as the tasks can only be completed “on the side” to a limited extent.
What else needs to be done to get the 2nd Master Ball?
The tasks are extensive. So if you still have some left, you should make sure to take advantage of the remaining 10 days.
The tasks are:
- Catch 1,000 Pokémon
- Win 60 raids
- Hatch 30 eggs
- Catch 100 different species of Pokémon
- Make 120 great throws
- Complete 150 field research tasks
- Explore 50 km
- Earn 100,000 XP
- Earn 100,000 stardust
For each of these tasks, you will receive 8,000 XP. Then, in the end, you can also earn 3,000 stardust, 20,000 XP, and the coveted Master Ball.
Is it still doable? If you have made no progress so far, it will be difficult to master the task. Especially the 60 raids were a point that is hardly solvable for many trainers – and if you only want to use daily passes, you need at least 60 days.
If you are only missing a few, you can, for example, make good use of the Raid Day with Mega-Knakrack. There are five additional raid passes.
And if you have trouble with the great throws, you can use a trick with the AR mode.
Otherwise, it mainly means: Do a lot of walking, spin stops, and catch whatever appears. This way, you can also gather the necessary kilometers for eggs, Pokémon species, and stops. Additionally, you need to pay attention to completing field research tasks regularly so that you don’t fall behind.
What if you can’t make it? According to the announcement, it should be possible to buy another Master Ball research in the shop later if you don’t complete the study. But that will cost money – and what the tasks will look like is still unknown.
