Pokémon GO has officially announced the first Pokémon of the 5th generation. They are talking about 20 Pokémon, such as Kapuno, Kastadur, or Grillmak, that will be coming this evening.
What kind of Pokémon are they? These are the first Pokémon that will be added as part of the Ultra Bonus this evening. Niantic is mentioning a total of 20 Pokémon, all of which will have further evolutions.
They are also talking about regional Pokémon and the Einall Stone, an evolution item.
Golbit, Kapuno, Fermicula: These Pokémon are waiting for you this evening
This is presented by Niantic: The developers are showing which Pokémon will be appearing in the wild and which monsters will come from eggs and raids. There will be the following Pokémon:
- Serpifeu (wild and egg)
- Floink (wild and egg)
- Ottaro (wild and egg)
- Nagelotz (wild and egg)
- Yorkleff (wild and egg)
- Felilou (wild and egg)
- Dusselgurr (wild and egg)
- Elezeba (wild and egg)
- Rotomurf (wild and egg)
- Tarnpignon (wild and egg)
- Kastadur (wild and egg)
- Klikk (raid and egg)
- Lichtel (wild and egg)
- Golbit (wild and egg)
- Kapuno (wild and egg)
- Vegimak (regional and only in the wild)
- Sodamak (regional and only in the wild)
- Grillmak (regional and only in the wild)
- Furnifraß (regional and only in the wild)
- Fermicula (regional and only in the wild)
Only Klikk is specifically mentioned by Niantic, as this Pokémon cannot be caught in the wild. Whether all other Pokémon can indeed be found in the wild remains to be seen.
Regional Pokémon are coming: Initially, 5 Pokémon will also be regional. The monkey trio Vegimak, Sodamak, and Grillmak will be found in 3 regions around the world. Here in Germany, Grillmak will be available.
Additionally, Furnifraß and Fermicula will be regional. The boundary will be the hemispherical boundary, just like with the two Schalellos. We in Germany will receive Fermicula.
This is what Niantic reveals about the Einall Stone: Niantic officially introduces the new evolution item for the first time. The Einall Stone was previously discovered by dataminers and has now been confirmed.
So far, it is only stated that you can develop Laternecto with it. This Pokémon is the evolution of Lichtel and evolves into Skelabra.
When do the Pokémon arrive? The new monsters come into the game this evening, on September 16th, at 10 PM.
