Due to a WP adjustment in Pokémon GO, the combat points of some Pokémon have been increased, while others have been reduced. Which Pokémon are affected?
An adjustment in Pokémon GO is currently the talking point on social networks like Facebook and Reddit. Surprisingly, the developers of Pokémon GO changed important values of the Pokémon. The change in these combat points is intended to make the game more balanced. This is one of the first significant balance changes since the release of Pokémon.

Data miners from TSR (The Silph Road) discovered all of this. In this overview, we show you the Max WP of each individual Pokémon in Pokémon GO.
With these changes, the developers want to bring more variety into battles. The gyms are supposed to become more competitive due to the WP increase and WP reduction of the various Pokémon, not just filled with the standard Pokémon seen in gyms for weeks. Moreover, the statement mentions that further WP changes are possible in the future.
With this adjustment, the developers surprised some trainers. On Reddit, many players suspected their accounts had been hacked because they did not remember their Pokémon “like this.” While many trainers complained that their Pokémon are now weaker than before, players who took advantage of the Halloween event are happy. Because there, there was an increased chance to catch Pokémon like Gengar, which has now been buffed.
