In Pokémon GO there are now over 500 Pokémon, making it difficult to keep track of them all. However, one monster is now missing: Paras seems to no longer appear.
This has been observed: On Reddit , the trainer Shipoffools1 posted his observations and explained that his community has been missing Paras for several days. No one has seen it, and now he is asking players on Reddit if they might have encountered Paras.
The opinions here are all the same: Paras has not been found for several days. The Pokémon seems to no longer be appearing in the wild.
Searching for Paras – A One-Off Case?
What players are reporting: The search for Paras is receiving a lot of support on Reddit. You can find over 250 comments under the thread. The responses are always the same: I haven’t seen any Paras either.
It is notable that the evolution Parasek is still found. So it seems to be only Paras itself that is not appearing.
Are there further cases of this? It is hard to say whether other Pokémon are currently missing. After all, there are so many Pokémon in the wild, making it difficult to keep track. Currently, however, only Paras is being discussed.
In the past, there have been similar reports repeatedly. A few months ago, the Shiny versions of Traunfugil and Magnetilo were simply nowhere to be found. For days, no player caught a Shiny of them. Eventually, they reappeared.
Is it perhaps just bad luck with the spawns? Of course, there is no guarantee that Paras has currently been removed from the spawn pool, but no player has yet proven otherwise.
