Kaumalat is one of the rarest Pokémon in Pokémon GO. A player now shows how to find it right in front of you with a little luck.
Which Pokémon is that? For just over a year, you can encounter Kaumalat in Pokémon GO. It belongs to the fourth generation and is of the Dragon and Ground type.
Its evolutions include Knarksel and Knackrack. Knackrack is one of the best Dragon attackers in the game. Accordingly, it is very popular among trainers.
The problem is that it is hard to catch, as it rarely appears in the game. An analysis by a trainer from May 2020 makes this clear. He caught over 35,000 different Pokémon and hatched more than 600 eggs and got Kaumalat only once.
Finding Kaumalat – Professor Willow can help now, if you’re lucky

The trainer explains that you can obtain Kaumalat during the guaranteed daily encounter in Pokémon GO. In the picture, you see Kaumalat as a buddy Pokémon on the map and once, with a white circle around it, as a “gift” from Professor Willow.
How can you get that? For a few days now, Pokémon GO has been distributing small gifts to trainers, but not to everyone. Those who are lucky will be approached by Professor Willow. He talks about a new kind of “smoke” that he is trying out. Afterwards, a seemingly random Pokémon appears on the map that you can catch.
As the screenshot from 21WaterGuy shows, rare Pokémon like Kaumalat can also spawn. But that requires a lot of luck, as you cannot influence which Pokémon spawns.
