Below we summarize all bonuses that will launch with the Cartoon Week in Pokémon GO.
When does it start? The event starts on Friday, November 6, at 08:00 and runs until Thursday, November 12, at 22:00.
The day before, Niantic is changing the coin system in Pokémon GO again.
What happens in raids? The legendary Pokémon Lugia is returning to level-5 raids. You will see it right at the start of the event. It will stay in the raids until November 16 at 22:00 and knows the move Aeroblast.
You will encounter additional raid bosses like Bisharp, Pinsir, Snorlax, Golgantes, and others.
Which Shinies are available? In the wild, you will encounter Pikachu with a World Traveler hat. If you are lucky, you might even find it as Shiny.
Many of the increased spawns will also appear as Shinies.
What spawns in the wild? Niantic has already confirmed the following Pokémon that will appear more frequently in the wild during the Cartoon Event.
- Bulbasaur
- Owl
- Gible
- Scyther
- Dratini
- Cyndaquil
All these listed Pokémon can also be encountered as Shiny.
This is how the 7km eggs change: The contents of the 7km eggs will change for the event. In them, you will find Pokémon like Pichu, Mantyke, Riolu, and Gible.

Who is Goh and what does he do in Pokémon GO?
This is Goh: Goh is first seen in the episode “Hello Pikachu” in season 23 of Pokémon. In the flashback, Goh is only six years old. During a visit to Pallet Town, they see the mysterious Mew, but lose sight of it during the chase.
Ash meets Goh in the series and quickly realizes that Goh is similarly infatuated with the world of Pokémon. Professor Cherry asks the two to become official scientific assistants.
