A next event for Pokémon GO is just around the corner, but what exactly is Niantic planning for April 10th with the Kanto event?
Starting next Tuesday, April 10, 2018, an event in Pokémon GO is set to begin. A Pokémon or multiple Pokémon from the Kanto region, the first generation, will be particularly highlighted. Niantic provides hints in a newsletter, but does not reveal much.
Pokémon GO Event on April 10
In the newsletter from the Pokémon GO team, the community is informed about news regarding the mobile game. The current issue highlights the upcoming Community Day, which will be active on April 15. The special Pokémon during the 4th Community Day is Voltilamm, its evolution Ampharos can learn this move.
However, before this Community Day, another event in Pokémon GO is set to start. In the email, the team mentions that on April 10, a special event will start in honor of the Kanto region. The wording in the email suggests that the event will not just be active on April 10, but will last for several days.
But so far, there is no further official information about it. Therefore, the community is already thinking about what Niantic is planning:
- Perhaps an event for regional Pokémon?
- Maybe more Magikarp spawns to make it easier to complete their research?
Now we have to be patient and wait for Niantic to release the next information about it. What kind of event related to the 1st generation would you be excited about in Pokémon GO?
