Pokémon GO has announced the GO Fest 2024 – including the global variant. What’s included in the ticket?
This has been announced: Pokémon GO released the dates for the local GO Fests in New York, Madrid, and Sendai, as well as for the global GO Fest.
When does the global Pokémon GO Fest take place? It occurs on the weekend of July 13 and 14, 2024.
What kind of event is this? The global GO Fest is the biggest event in the Pokémon GO calendar and takes place annually. Here, one can always expect special bonuses, special research, and more. However, you need a ticket for the event to access some of the content.
How much does the ticket cost? The ticket costs 17.99 euros in the in-game store. It can theoretically be purchased as of now, but the bonuses will only be activated on July 13 and 14.
Additionally, there’s a ticket available in the Pokémon GO webstore for the same price, which includes the same bonuses as well as a shirt for your avatar.

Pokémon GO Fest 2024: These bonuses are only available with the ticket

- You will receive an exclusive special research with the mysterious Pokémon Marshadow.
- There will be a global challenge every hour. Once it is solved, there is a bonus for ticket holders until the end of the hour.
- You will get an increased shiny chance.
- You can perform six special trades per day.
- Collector challenges during the habitats.
- Up to 9 extra raid passes from gyms.
- Special 7 km eggs.
- Depending on the habitat, some special Pokémon may appear in the incense. Possible shinies are marked with asterisk. They are:

- If you buy the ticket by May 6, 2024, you will receive a research task between April 30 and May 6 that will give you a “Sun Crown” for your avatar.
- If you purchase it by June 6, 2024, you will receive another research task between April 30 and June 6 that will provide a “Moon Crown” for your avatar.
Pokémon GO Fest 2024: These bonuses you get without a ticket

- Hourly rotating habitats with numerous changing Pokémon on Saturday.
- All Pokémon from the habitats will appear on Sunday as well, but in random order.
- Incense lasts for an hour.
- There are various field researches related to the habitats.

- The rare Miniras appears for the first time as a shiny.
