For the global Pokémon GO Fest 2023, the gemstone Pokémon Rocara also celebrates its worldwide release. The inconspicuous monster is worth it.
What kind of monster is this? Rocara comes from the sixth Pokémon generation and belongs to the Rock and Fairy types. It has no evolution, but according to lore, it is connected to the mysterious Pokémon Diancie due to a mutation.
Rocara was already available in Pokémon GO for players of the local GO Fests as well as for early pre-orders of the global GO Fest ticket, but now it celebrates its final global debut at the worldwide GO Fest 2023.
And even though a powerful monster like Mega-Rayquaza already looks extremely strong and impressive just by its appearance and is probably one of the main goals of the weekend for many trainers: Don’t underestimate the little gemstone Rocara.
How strong is Rocara in Pokémon GO
This is what Rocara can do: In raids, you can safely do without Rocara as it is not one of the best attackers in Pokémon GO.
In the battle league, however, it looks completely different: In the Super League, it is not only a good option, but is even the current number 1 in the ranking of PvPoke. In the league up to 1,500 CP, it is thus one of the best monsters you can play.
One has to level the monster strongly to achieve good CP values, but if you manage that, you have a hard-to-beat monster in your ranks. Use the moveset:
- Stone Edge
- Rock Slide
- Moonblast
With the right attacks, Rocara can take down some extremely popular monsters in PvP, such as Noctowl, Alolan Ninetales, Spiritomb, or even Medicham.
Even for players who are leveling up, it is worth collecting powerful PvP monsters like Rocara. Because there is a task on the way to Level 44 that requires you to prove yourself in the battle league.
By then, even players who usually overlook PvP but want to level up will have to win a few battles in the different leagues. A Rocara can be a powerful help in the Super League.
How do I get Rocara? The monster appears at the GO Fest in 2-star raids. You should be able to catch it there even without a ticket for the event.
