What is it about? At 9:00 AM German time the Pokémon GO Tour: Johto started on Saturday, February 26. Trainers could participate in the event with a paid ticket, but it was also completely free to join.

There were positive surprises, such as the legendary beasts in the wild. Although they were rare to find, they received a lot of positive feedback. The researches that rewarded trainers with many candies and exciting encounters were also well received.
On the other hand, the researches caused problems at times. Players were supposed to fight the new GO Gym Trainers, but they appeared only very rarely at PokéStops. Especially players in rural areas complained about a poor yield that stopped them from completing the challenge.
