The partners of Pokémon GO are currently posting mysterious entries that promise a special surprise in the game for the end of November. Trainers are diligently speculating about what to expect. We at MeinMMO show you their assumptions.
What kind of partners are they? Niantic has a so-called partner program for Pokémon GO, in which they collaborate with well-known content creators like The Trainer Club, Trainer Tips, or Couple of Gaming.
Some of these partners of Pokémon GO are now posting mysterious teasers on Twitter that are causing quite a stir in the community. We show you what is suspected behind it.
What are these mysterious teasers?
What was posted exactly? In the evening of November 15, 2022, some prominent content creators, such as Couple of Gaming and Pokémon GO Hub, made a mysterious teaser. In all these posts, only two dates are visible: November 26 and 27. Additionally, these dates are marked as important with various symbols, and you should remember them.
Besides the dates, each of these posts is also accompanied by a small text. While in the post from Couple of Gaming you can read “To be continued”, Pokémon GO Hub already gives a more specific hint. It states: “Get ready.” This could indicate an event.
But what should the trainers prepare for? What does the community expect at the end of November? So far, there are no concrete answers to this. However, this does not prevent the Pokémon GO fan community from making their own considerations. We have summarized what events could be conceivable on this day.
These events are suspected by trainers behind the teaser
Even though the teasers from the content creators are very mysterious and provide little insight into the upcoming event, many trainers on social media have already shared their own speculations about what could be coming their way.
Mini-event for the Astral Eclipse
Release of Solgaleo & Lunala: Taking a look at the calendar, it quickly becomes clear that the specified weekend coincides with the Astral Eclipse event. For this reason, for many, the release of Solgaleo and Lunala is an option.
Trainers had already speculated about the announcement of the Astral Eclipse event and the continuation of the special research “A Cosmic Companion” would lead to a release of the two missing legendary Pokémon. Furthermore, it is also conceivable that players could finally receive more Cosmog that Niantic had promised them in the past.

Raid or research day: November 27 is also marked with question marks in the event overview and is supposed to last for 6 hours. This could thus indicate a possible raid or research day.
Release of Necrozma: Reddit user NightfighterZ is also convinced of the theory that it could be related to Solgaleo and Lunala. However, he suspects another Pokémon release as well. NightfighterZ can imagine that the legendary psychic Pokémon Necrozma could find its way into the game.
He writes (via reddit.com): “Astral Eclipse, what? Sounds like Necrozma to me. Its motive is to create an eclipse for Solgaleo and Lunala by extinguishing their light. Thematically it makes sense to end the season of light with its release by blocking the light.”
Event for the Paldea region
Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: Other trainers may instead imagine that the weekend is related to the release of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Although these two games will already debut on November 18 on the Nintendo Switch, during the release weekend, there is the Safari Zone in Singapore in Pokémon GO.
It is therefore conceivable that Niantic simply postpones this by a few days and sets up a special mini-event. A hint in this direction is provided by the current findings of the Pokéminers, a group of dataminers who found avatar items in the game code related to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Release of the Paldea region: In connection with the release of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, it would also be conceivable if Niantic thematizes the Paldea region. Thus, jontslayer on reddit speculates: “Scarlet/Violet as a link? Paldea research day?”
This isn’t far-fetched, as there was already a first glimpse of this region on November 5, where golden PokéStops and mysterious coins could be found throughout the game.

Hint at the next season: Since the current Season of Light ends in November and thus a new season starts in December, this could also be an early hint at the theme of the new season.
In the past, Niantic has launched special surprise events shortly before the end of a season to prepare trainers for the new season. After the conclusion event at the GO Fest in August, players were able to encounter Sonnfel and Lunastein everywhere in the wild.
Further ideas for the last weekend of November
Special offers in the shop: Anyone who takes a closer look at the calendar will also notice that this date is the Black Friday weekend. During this time, many markets and online stores have special offers and discounts.
It is therefore also possible that Niantic has come up with a few specialties to align with Black Friday. Given that trainers have been complaining about the many secret changes and bad boxes over the past weeks, many players would surely appreciate strong boxes.
However, based on experiences from recent weeks, Reddit users suspect the opposite. Zaohod writes (via reddit.com): “It’s Black Friday weekend!! Niantic will surprise us with new boxes that are outrageously more expensive than now and filled with even more junk.”

Fulfilling long-awaited wishes: Other players think positively and hope for the implementation of community wishes. However, the release of a long-awaited Pokémon is also conceivable for many. For example, you can find the following comments (via reddit.com):
