The community day vote in June and July for Pokémon GO has now started. We will show you how to participate.
What kind of vote is this? You will significantly influence the next community days in June and July 2020. With your vote, you decide which Pokémon should be in the spotlight.
Niantic has the following candidates available for voting:
- Squirtle
- Weedle
- Sandshrew
- Gastly
When does the vote start and how can you participate on Twitter?
When does it start? Niantic announced the start of the voting for May 23 at 6:00 PM PDT. This corresponds to 03:00 AM German time on May 24. So it started Sunday morning.
Several hours after the vote, the Community Day in May featuring Samurzel will start.
How long does the vote last? The voting will remain active for 24 hours. So the voting ends at 03:00 AM on Monday. Until then, you can cast your votes.
How to participate? The voting takes place on Twitter. So you should create an account on Twitter for this purpose. By the way, don’t forget to follow our Twitter page. You can find MeinMMO on Twitter here.
Once you have created an account, go to the official Twitter page of Pokémon GO. There you will now find a poll with 4 fields.
- Squirtle = Schiggy
- Weedle = Hornliu
- Sandshrew = Sandan
- Gastly = Nebulak
You have a single vote that you can distribute. To distribute it, click on the corresponding Pokémon in the vote that you want to see during one of the community days in June or July 2020. So Squirtle, Weedle, Sandshrew or Gastly.
Once you have cast your vote, your job is done. The vote cannot be changed afterward. You will receive the results Monday morning when the survey is completed.
The Pokémon with the most votes will appear in the spotlight during the community day in June. The Pokémon with the second-most votes will appear during the community day in July.
Who should I vote for? If you are still undecided about which Pokémon to vote for, all four species are associated with a special move for the event.
- Squirtle – Blastoise learns the fighting move Aura Sphere.
- Weedle – Beedrill learns the ground move Drill Run.
- Sandshrew – Sandslash or Alolan Sandslash learn the ghost move Dark Claw.
- Gastly – Gengar learns the ghost move Shadow Punch.
