Pokémon GO has received a new update that finally fixes the “Last Ball” bug in raid battles. Trainers can now catch the raid bosses with their last Premier Ball. What else is included in Patch 0.73.1 for Android and Patch 1.43.1 for iOS, you can find out here.
Just yesterday, we reported on the many bugs that trainers face during raid battles. With the latest update, which is now being rolled out, Niantic is already addressing the “Last Ball” bug. The bug prevented trainers from catching the boss with their last Premier Ball at the end of a raid battle.
Additionally, the update adjusts the raid battle system. Trainers can now see how many players are participating in a raid and/or preparing before using their raid pass.
Patch Notes: 0.73.1 / 1.43.1 – Bug Fixes and New Raid Features
In this patch, Niantic has mainly focused on raiding and bugs:
- Trainers can now spin the Photo Disk in a gym by using the “Pokémon GO Plus“ band.
- Trainers can now see how many other players want to participate in a raid before they consume their raid pass.
- Trainers can now search the movesets of their Pokémon by using “@” as an input.
- The “Last Ball” bug has been fixed. Trainers can finally catch the raid boss with their last Premier Ball.
- A bug has been fixed that prevented trainers from seeing when they received double XP from a lucky egg after a raid battle.
