Patch Notes 0.59.2 for Android
On Twitter, the Pokémon GO account announced that the game will be updated to version 0.59.2. This update is currently rolling out and will be gradually released for different regions. So if you can’t find an update for your game yet, just wait a little longer.
According to the patch notes, the developers mentioned “minor bug fixes”. Since there are no further official details available, the community can only speculate about what will be fixed.
- In recent weeks, there was a recurring bug that caused empty sighting displays in the tracker. This issue may have been fixed, and you can go on your Pokémon hunt “more reliably” with the update.
- Additionally, trainers have noticed an increased battery usage on some devices in recent days and weeks. Since the utilization was already lower in earlier versions, players hope for less battery consumption from the update.
- Lag issues in the game, especially during arena battles, have been noticed by trainers since patch 0.59.1, which activated the guaranteed evolution items in the game. There were frequent delays in the game that made battling other monsters in the arena more difficult.
Once the patch is available, we will take a closer look at which bugs and issues have been fixed.
Will shiny Pokémon remain in the game after the water event? Or will you no longer find them?
