The biggest change in the new Pokémon GO update is the Korean language support. Other than the language support, no new features are mentioned in the patch notes. On Reddit, user moppetkid writes that this patch also fixed issues with Android devices using Pokémon GO Plus.
An email from the Pokémon support team explains that the GO Plus device is not yet compatible with Android versions over 7.0. Those who experienced connection issues with the device due to the last update should disconnect the devices (if possible) and restart the smartphone. Then, delete the Pokémon GO app and reinstall it. Finally, the GO Plus device only needs to be reset, and the connection should be successful again.
