Pokémon GO: Update 0.141.0 lets you delete raid passes – Why players want this

It sounds strange that someone would want to voluntarily delete such an item. After all, you don’t get it for free.

Here is why players want to delete the Raid Passes: Raid Passes are often received in offer boxes. So if you like to hatch eggs, you buy such a box and also receive Raid Passes.

But if you hardly do any raiding, you don’t use these passes and they accumulate in the bag. Now you can delete them and clear your bag again. So if you hardly raid, you can now empty your bag.

Many players in our community had requested this function for 2019, and now Niantic is implementing it.

What do the players say about this: On Twitter, the user “TheLateGreatZK” shows a picture of his over 600 Raid Passes and writes: “Because so many people have asked why you would want to delete your Raid Passes. This is the reason: You buy boxes for other items and end up with Raid Passes that fill your bag!”

“Pycrow” writes on Reddit: “My friend, who regularly buys boxes in the shop, but cannot raid because he lives in the countryside, will love this feature!”

What do the critics say? Some players do not understand why one would want to delete Raid Passes and find the function useless.

As “shilaluddin” writes on Twitter: “I pay for my Raid Passes, so why should I delete them??”
