The update 0.127.1 for Pokémon GO is currently rolling out. Dataminers found information about the Sinnoh Stone and much more.
The next update for Pokémon GO is slowly being rolled out and will be available in the app stores in the coming days. Dataminers have already searched the new update and found various innovations that could possibly be implemented in the game.
Update 0.127.1 – What has been found
Many innovations: In the update, dataminers found some new features for the game. There is more information about the Sinnoh Stone, Meltan and Melmetal have been found in the code and further exciting things have been discovered.
Meltan and Melmetal
Coinciding with the release of the Let’s GO games on November 16, Meltan and Melmetal have now been found in the update.

PokéDex number known: The PokéDex numbers of both Pokémon are now known. Meltan will have the number 808 and Melmetal the number 809. Evolving costs 400 candies.
Wonder Box for Meltan
The Wonder Box was also found in the update. It is called “.ITEM_INCENSE_BELUGA_BOX” and revolves around the new Pokémon Meltan.
Works like incense: This Wonder Box can be obtained once a week and works like incense when used. However, this special incense only attracts Meltan and no other Pokémon. This way, you can get Meltan, which previously always transformed into Ditto when trying to catch it.
Trading Pokémon to the Let’s GO games
To get a Wonder Box for Meltan, you must trade Pokémon between Pokémon GO and the Let’s GO games. Niantic has now added rules that are important when trading Pokémon.

The following Pokémon are not allowed to be traded:
- Pokémon from eggs
- Pokémon sitting in gyms
- All Pokémon that are not from the Kanto or Alola region
- Multiple Pokémon at once
Pokéball Plus
The Pokéball Plus was also found in the update. According to dataminers, the Pokéball Plus works just like the Pokémon GO Plus.
Other designation: The only difference between the Pokéball Plus and the GO Plus are the designations in the code. Dataminers cannot rule out that the Pokéball Plus has other functions than the GO Plus. However, it remains to be seen until the Pokéball Plus is released on November 16 and the update is fully rolled out.
Sinnoh Stone
The new update also contains news about the Sinnoh Stone. This stone is supposed to evolve Pokémon from the first three generations into their forms from the 4th generation. Now a picture of the stone has been found in the code.
There was not much more information about this stone found in the new update. However, the Sinnoh Stone may be related to the November 2018 event, which was also found.
November 2018 Event
In the code of Pokémon GO, there is a list of events. An “November 2018” event has now been added to this list. The events in this list have almost always come with a Pokémon in a special form. This includes, for example, Pikachu in various hat variants.

One could assume that a special form of Pikachu will be released during an event in November. However, this is purely speculation at this point.
Facebook Friends
It seems that soon you will be able to add Facebook friends in Pokémon GO. What exactly this function brings is not known.
