The data mining of the APK of the new Pokémon GO update 0.119.5 is complete. Insights about the new move, an autumn event, and fitness have come to light.
A new update for the mobile game Pokémon GO is on the way. The APK has already been thoroughly examined for changes by the data mining experts. They found hints about the new Meteor Mash move, fitness goals, a possible autumn event, and more.

Weekly Fitness Goals
In the code, the data miners from GOHub found indications that fitness goals will soon likely be part of Pokémon GO. These are classified in 3 levels and measured in kilometers. A reward is given when the weekly fitness goal is achieved.

What does this change mean? It is possible that there will soon be rewards in Pokémon GO related to how far trainers move. There hasn’t been an announcement from Niantic yet.
The data miners speculate: Trainers have 3 goals each week for which they must cover certain distances.
Meteor Mash finally in the APK
Trainers learned about the Meteor Mash move a few weeks ago when the first parts were added to the game. What was still missing was the move itself, which needed to be added to the code. It is now in the game.
What does this change mean? It is assumed that the move is intended as a special attack for the Community Day in October with Tanhel.
Possible autumn event
For autumn, Niantic is likely planning a special event. At least the data miners think so, because the following code appeared in the game.
What does this change mean? Last year around this time, the Halloween event was discovered in the code, but it was explicitly labeled as “Halloween.” The line in the code for 2018 is simply labeled autumn. This could also hint at a larger autumn event. Perhaps Niantic has just referred to the Halloween event as “autumn” in the code.
Improvements to battle teams
The changes to battle teams indicate that Niantic is working on an improvement.

What does this change mean? It is suspected that trainers will soon be able to select multiple Pokémon at the same time when creating battle teams, similar to mass sending.
Minor changes
Many bug fixes are on the way and are intended to free the game from bugs. Improvements have also been made for the Points of Interest. That is, the locations that are considered for stops and gyms.
What was not in the update?
Trainers are eagerly awaiting news on Generation 4 or Kecleon. However, this was not found in the new update.
