The new Pokémon GO update 0.103.2 is on its way to you. The patch brings a new attack and continues to address PokéStop submissions.
Trainers, the new update with version number 0.103.2 is currently rolling out and will be gradually released for different regions. The update was checked for changes by data miners. Initial data mining results show that “Lohekanonade” will likely be the special attack for the upcoming Community Day.
Furthermore, there have been additional tweaks to the PokéStop submissions. There is now an error message for that.
Lohekanonade for Community Day in May?
While examining the APK of update 0.103.2, data miners from PokémonGOHub found an entry for the Blast Burn (known in German as Lohekanonade) attack. It is almost certain that this attack will be exclusively available during the Community Day featuring Glumanda.
How strong is the attack? So far, there are no exact numbers in the code. It is expected that the attack will be powerful and that Charizard will become a better attacker with it, similar to how Flora Statue Venusaur has been enhanced.
PokéStop submissions improved – now with error code
The community is eagerly waiting to finally submit their own PokéStop suggestions. This feature is still being worked on, but it is not available yet due to the update.
Progress is being made: Now there are two new error messages for the Stop submissions. One indicates an internal error, while the other refers to too many submitted stops. It seems that selected testers from Niantic can already try out this feature with the new update.
Distributing tons of Rare Candy
Were you also bothered by having to convert Rare Candies in small batches to a specific type? Niantic has made a significant change with the new update: you can now convert multiple Rare Candies at once. Trainer Fabian-Anghel shows how this looks with the new update:
Summary:
- A new attack is now present in the game code. It is likely to make its appearance during the Community Day in May.
- The developers at Niantic are continuing to work on making it possible for you to submit PokéStop suggestions soon – this feature will be a blessing for players with few Stops or Gyms in their vicinity.
- Being able to convert multiple Rare Candies at once will save trainers time and frustration.
What do you think of the changes?
