The new “Daily Adventure Incense” in Pokémon GO is currently causing a lot of discussions among trainers. Online, some players are showcasing their rare finds.
What is this incense? The daily adventure incense was freshly introduced in Pokémon GO and is meant to provide exciting walks. When you ignite the adventure incense, you receive Pokémon spawns for 15 minutes.
In the announcement, Niantic explained that monsters can also appear that are otherwise seen less frequently in the wild. And that seems to be the case for some trainers.
For example, many trainers are sharing what they encounter on their adventure incense walks on reddit and Twitter.
Galar birds are the highlight, but not the only ones
Which Pokémon spawn in the adventure incense? Trainers are currently finding this out, as the incense has only been available for a few days and can only be used once per day.
But even now it is becoming clear: The monster pool seems to be very large.
It can happen that you only encounter “ordinary” monsters during an incense walk. At the same time, there are also some spawns that you would not normally encounter.
The highlight is the Galar birds Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. All three Galar variants can be found with the help of the incense, if you are lucky. Some trainers are already showing that they have encountered the monsters:
Cool birds, but: The downside of the legendary Galar birds is that while you can encounter them, catching them is anything but guaranteed. On the contrary: It is quite unlikely. A very low catch rate is combined with a very high flee rate – which can lead to the birds simply departing after a first unsuccessful throw and seeking cover.
Then one can only hope that they reappear on the next adventure incense run. But they are not the only crazy monsters that can appear.
What other spawns are there? One of the most exciting finds was reported by trainer “HaughtyMicky” in the subreddit “TheSilphRoad” (via reddit). He showed that apparently Tobutz from the lake trio appeared through the adventure incense – a very rare, regional monster.
Other trainers have shown that the daily adventure incense has also brought them Shiny monsters. One user, for example, found Shiny-Sneasal – however, the regular one, not the new Hisuian version:
Even in the overall view, the monsters apparently are shown directly as Shiny, as another user noted, who apparently managed to secure Shiny-Loturzel:
Unfortunately, it didn’t go well for another trainer – albeit somewhat self-inflicted. He apparently ignited the adventure incense during the spotlight hour with Meditie.
It is now clear that the adventure incense apparently does not compete with the spawns of the spotlight hour.
What else spawns? In the subreddit, players talk about a variety of spawns. Some apparently found strong evolutions like Rihornior or Gardevoir, while others talk about rare monsters like Wuffels or Miniras. Such monsters are usually found in the wild only very sporadically, if at all.
However, rare spawns are not guaranteed. This applies to the Galar birds, but also pretty much everything else that spawns from the incense. A proper weighting of the spawns has not yet been established.
Additionally: So far, not all trainers have the feature. The daily adventure incense is being rolled out gradually but is expected to reach all players over the next week.
