The GO Fest 2021 brought Meloetta to Pokémon GO. Through a special research, you can obtain it. Now, players have discovered a secret feature that perfectly fits the melody Pokémon after the event.
What is it about? Last weekend, the big GO Fest 2021 took place in Pokémon GO. For two days, there were plenty of bonuses and content for the many trainers participating from all over the world. This includes a special research that rewards trainers with the new melody Pokémon “Meloetta” from the 5th generation.
Only now, after the end of the event, it was noticed that Meloetta as a buddy affects the music in the game. Trainers praise the developers at Niantic for this idea.
Meloetta activates music from the GO Fest
How does it work? When you set Meloetta as your buddy in Pokémon GO, the music played during the GO Fest 2021 will start again. You change your buddy by clicking on the buddy next to your avatar image and then scrolling all the way down. Then select “Change buddy” and find your Meloetta.
If you now activate the music in the Pokémon GO settings, you will hear the soundtrack from the GO Fest again.
Players noticed this working like KuhaMaven on reddit (via reddit.com). Such effects were not known from buddy Pokémon before. This secret feature was also not communicated by the developers.
