In Pokémon GO, the Mew research “All in One … No. 151” has been running for a few weeks. The first trainers have now caught Shiny Mew and are showing further tasks of the special research.
What kind of research is this? On February 22, 2021, the Kanto Tour started in Pokémon GO. Since that day, trainers have had the opportunity to participate in the research “All in One … No. 151”. The special feature of this research is the encounter with Shiny Mew. This variant can only be obtained through the research.
This is new: Until now, we only knew what Step 1 and Step 2 of this research look like. One of the tasks referred to having to catch a Pokémon for 30 consecutive days. Now, on March 21, those 30 days are over. The first trainers are now reporting what tasks await trainers from Level 3 and proudly show their Shiny Mew.
Level 3 of the Mew research – What tasks are coming?
These are the new tasks: On reddit, trainer jeremyzeroone shows all 5 tasks that await you on page 3 of the special research with Shiny Mew.

Level reward: If you complete all 5 of these mentioned tasks, you can expect three rewards: 1 Lucky Egg, 1 Lure Module, and an encounter with Shiny Mew.
By the end of the third of the four chapters, you have thus achieved the encounter with the shimmering Mew. Some trainers have already been able to trigger the encounter and catch Mew. What happens in Level 4?
What is known: As you may know from other researches, in the “All in One … No. 151” the last page is already automatically completed. You simply complete the 3 tasks by clicking and receive 3020 Stardust (2x 1510) and 5,100 XP.
As a level reward, you will receive 20 Mew Candy, 3 Charged TMs, and a Shiny Mew T-shirt for your avatar. This information, along with the screenshot of Shiny Mew, comes from trainer AlfalfaSensitive8225 on reddit.
What are the problems with the research?
What is criticized: Many trainers report on reddit and other platforms that they are still far from reaching Level 3. The problem is tasks where you have to catch a number of specific Pokémon types. For example, dragons. While it was still relatively easy to complete during the Kanto Tour, those who did not play actively at that time are now finding it harder. It is important to keep an eye on which Pokémon are currently spawning through the use of incense.
One of the problematic tasks from task 3 was recently simplified by Niantic. Now you no longer have to spin 151 unique PokéStops. The change especially helped trainers in rural areas who have few PokéStops nearby.
