Who is Brandon Tan? Brandon Tan, known as BrandonTan91, is considered the best player
in the world for Pokémon GO. He has set countless records in Pokémon GO, and for example, reached the maximum points of experience back in 2021, which has caused his game to become unplayable.
Tan is a content creator and is also known for participating in around 50 raids a day at times, reaching level caps in unbelievable times, and being the first player to exceed one billion experience points.
However, he is not without controversy. Brandon Tan was banned for a month for offering a catching service for real money. Players could pay to have Mewtwo caught for them.

However, there are also critical voices against Brandon Tan. These refer to Tan’s previous catching service. “I’m old enough to remember that the ‘best’ player in the world was banned for violating the terms of use,” reads one comment.
