by the game.
Suddenly no balls anymore: A trainer recently drew attention in the reddit community for Pokémon GO when he posted a screenshot of his game. It shows him encountering a Shiny-Mangunior. A rare monster that one obviously wants to add to their collection immediately.
But right here was the problem: to do that, one needs at least one Poké Ball. However, that was exactly what the trainer was missing at that moment – as well as Ultra or Great Balls.
That alone is already unusual, some trainers find, because you can usually get balls quite easily, and sometimes you even throw them away to make space. But at that moment, the trainer was completely dry regarding balls:

How to quickly get balls in Pokémon GO?
There are various ways to quickly obtain balls when you need supplies in Pokémon GO. However, they also depend on the right circumstances.
- You can get them by spinning gyms and stops. Of course: you need some nearby.
- Open gifts: Friends can send you balls. However, you can only do this once a day per friend.
- Activating adventure incense: The trick is a bit roundabout, because if you have less than 30 balls when you activate the daily adventure incense, you will receive 30. This is a good option if you still have your adventure incense active.
Other ways include themes such as leveling up, buddy gifts, leveling up, or adventure sync rewards and promo codes. However, these are often not “just doable” and, as in this example, you run the risk of the shiny Pokémon fleeing.
The trainer from the post eventually resorted to buying some balls. If you want to avoid that, you should try to always have enough balls with you – in case rare monsters cross your path like here.
