The Pokémon GO Tour 2025 has been officially announced. In this context, many details of the big event have already been revealed that you shouldn’t miss.
What kind of event is it? The GO Tour is one of the 3 major events in Pokémon GO that take place every year. It will occur on March 1 and 2, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM each day.

Highlights of the GO Tour 2025
Return of strong attackers: In the event, you can once again challenge Reshiram and Zekrom in raids and add them to your collection. If you don’t have these monsters yet, you should take the opportunity. After all, both Pokémon are among the strongest attackers in Pokémon GO.
Regional Pokémon: During the GO Tour 2025, you can obtain all regional Pokémon from Generation 5. While you can find Vegimak, Sodamak, and Grillmak in the various habitats, Barschuft in its red and blue forms will be waiting for you in field research and on routes.
The remaining regional monsters can be found in eggs. Jiutesto, Karadonis, Furnifraß, and Fermicula will be waiting for you in 5 km eggs and team play tasks. Maracamba, Symvolara, and Bisofank, which are making their debut in Pokémon GO as Shiny, can be found in 10 km eggs.
You can also find all regional Pokémon as Shiny in the event.
Sesokitz and Meloetta as Shiny: Sesokitz will also be available as Shiny for the first time in this event. The special thing about this Pokémon is that it has a different appearance depending on the season. Since there will be 4 habitats in the GO Tour that reflect each season, you may get lucky and catch all 4 Shiny forms of Sesokitz at this event.
The mysterious Pokémon Meloetta can also be obtained as Shiny for the first time through a masterpiece research. However, you will need to purchase a ticket for this.
Pikachu with different headgear: You can find Pikachu wearing 4 different headgear in the event. All variants can also be found as Shiny. You will find Pikachu in 1-star raids, in the habitats, and in field research.
Icognitos: If you use incense during the event, you can find Icognito in the shapes A, N, O, U, and V. These can also be found as Shiny with a bit of luck.

Which Pokémon are available through team play tasks? There will be new team play tasks during the event where you can obtain the regional Pokémon Jiutesto, Karadonis, Furnifraß, and Fermicula. These Pokémon can also appear as Shiny.
What bonuses are there in the event? If you place eggs in your incubators during the event, they will only require half the distance to hatch.
Additionally, you can conduct up to 6 special trades per day on both event days, and the cost of trading Pokémon is halved.
There is still some time until the GO Tour in March 2025. However, there are still several events in the game bringing interesting content. For example, the Fusion Raid Day awaits you in December, which will bring back 2 of the strongest attackers in Pokémon GO.
