After a failed first attempt in Pokémon GO, Regidrago is now returning to top raids. What can you expect?
What kind of event is this? In March 2023, the top raids with Regidrago took place for the first time, but there were issues. Players reported faulty catch circles, login problems, or simply the absence of top raids.
As a result, Niantic apologized for the problems and scheduled a compensation event, where Regidrago is supposed to appear again. This is happening this coming weekend.
When are the top raids with Regidrago? The compensation event will take place on Saturday, May 13, 2023. Again, top raids with Regidrago will occur at three times:
- At 11:00 AM local time
- At 2:00 PM local time
- At 5:00 PM local time
What happens during the top raids with Regidrago?
The event will include what the original event was supposed to bring. The focus is therefore on the top raids themselves. However, there will also be a limited research task.
What is a top raid? Top raids represent more challenging raids that can only be challenged on-site. They are always available for 30 minutes once they hatch.

What research is available? There will be two limited research tasks available between 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM local time. You need to complete various field research tasks. Completing them will reward candies for Regirock, Regice, and Registeel.
Is there any bonus? Only in the GMT +13 time zone, for example, for players in New Zealand, who were particularly affected by the original problems. For these players, there will be a bundle with 3 premium battle passes and 2 silver nanab berries at the event.
