In Pokémon GO today, on March 11, there is another Raid hour. This time, however, two Pokémon are in the spotlight. We will show you if it is worth it.
What is a Raid hour? This event takes place every Wednesday and brings the current legendary boss more frequently to almost every gym for one hour.
However, today’s Raid hour in Pokémon GO is different, as two legendary Pokémon will appear more frequently.
Raid hour with Cresselia and Registeel
What is happening today? Today’s hour revolves around Cresselia and Registeel. Both monsters are currently available in the raids, and during the hour, they will appear more frequently. Voltolos, which is also currently available, will hardly or not appear during the Raid hour.
When does it start? The Raid hour takes place, as usual, at 6 PM local time. The raids will then be available for one hour.
Is the Raid hour worth it? Cresselia and Registeel are both very strong for the PvP leagues. While Registeel is useful for Super and Hyper League, Cresselia is especially useful in the Hyper League.
Anyone who still needs a strong team in the leagues should rely on Cresselia and Registeel.
Another advantage is that both Pokémon can also be encountered as Shiny. If you are still looking for Shinies in Pokémon GO, you might find them during the Raid hour.
Pokémon GO: Group size and counters for Cressilia and Registeel
How many trainers are needed? For both legendary Pokémon, at least 3 trainers are needed. Use the following types against them:
- Cresselia is vulnerable to Dark, Bug, and Ghost types
- Fire, Fighting, and Ground types are effective against Registeel
We show you how to defeat Cresselia in a group of three here.
How long will the two Raid bosses be available? You should take advantage of the opportunity during the Raid hour, as the two Pokémon will disappear on March 12, that is tomorrow, at 10 PM.
Which Raid bosses you can find besides Cresselia and Registeel until then, we will show you here:
