What kind of event is this? Today is April 1st, and of course, Pokémon GO is in the mood for jokes on this day. For this reason, Niantic is sending you into April with a special event today. The first hints about the prank event were already shown by a find from the PokeMiners.
However, all the contents are now officially known. Under the name “April, April 2022: A Ditto Disaster”, everything will revolve around the purple Transform Pokémon. When does the event take place? The event has already started today, April 1st, 2022, at 00:00 local time. You have the whole day to take advantage of the event’s special features. It will end tonight at 23:59 local time.

When does a Ditto-tastic Surprise start? The mini-event runs on April 1st, 2022, from 17:00 to 20:00 local time. So you have plenty of time to snag a Ditto.
Which Pokémon can you find Ditto behind?
On the occasion of today’s Ditto disaster, the Transform Pokémon can now be found hiding behind other wild Pokémon. Starting today, you can experience a surprise after catching the following monsters:
