In Pokémon GO the final event for GO Fest 2022 is just around the corner and brings you plenty of Pokémon. We at MeinMMO will show you which spawns, shinies, and bonuses to expect on Saturday.
What event is it about? This year, GO Fest is celebrated particularly large and included, in addition to a global opening weekend, also three live events, such as the GO Fest in Berlin. Now it should be rounded off with a final event.
Just like in June during GO Fest, you can participate from anywhere in the world again. Of course, there will also be plenty of spawns and bonuses again. These, however, differ between playing without or with an event ticket. We have summarized for you what content to expect below.
The final event for GO Fest 2022 – Start & Ticket
When is the final event? The final event for GO Fest 2022 takes place on August 27, 2022, between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM local time. Basically, anyone can participate, whether with or without a ticket. Only the content differs accordingly.
Where can you get a ticket? Those who purchased a ticket for the global GO Fest in June already have access to the final event included. For trainers who do not have it, a ticket can be purchased in the in-game shop.
You can find it under the category “Global Events” for a price of about 11.00 euros. However, this can vary depending on the provider.
Can the ticket also be given as a gift? Yes, you can also give the ticket to up to 3 friends at a reduced price of 5.49 euros if you have reached at least Super Friend status. However, you must have purchased a corresponding ticket beforehand.

All spawns & shinies for the final event
As you already know from other events around GO Fest, there will also be various habitats during the finale where you can encounter numerous monsters. Each of these habitats lasts for 2 hours and brings you changing spawns in the wild and in raids.
Ticket holders can also look forward to special Pokémon from the incense during these times. In addition, you may also encounter one or another shiny specimen.

All new Pokémon at a glance
Of course, the final event of GO Fest 2022 will also feature a few new Pokémon in the game. And also one or the other new shiny will celebrate its debut on that day. We will show you which monsters these are:
New ultra beasts: While the ultra beast Anego could already be caught in the level-5 raids during the global GO Fest in June, Schabelle, Masskito, and Voltriant were previously only available at the respective live events.
Now all trainers finally have the chance to catch these ultra beasts. In addition, they will all be catchable with a so-called ultra ball. This was also only available during the live events in the game.
Costumed Pikachu: And Pikachu has dressed up nicely one last time for the GO Fest finale. You can find the electric Pokémon all day long wearing a special Shaymin scarf. With a bit of luck, you may even encounter a shiny.
However, according to current information, Pikachu remains the only costumed Pokémon on that day. The trainers are sad about this because they would have preferred a different costume.
Somniam: Although Somniam is not making its first appearance in the game, the psychic Pokémon from Generation 5 will celebrate its shiny debut in Pokémon GO. You can recognize it by its yellow body and green flowers. It can also evolve into Smonivora.
Icognito: And two other monsters can be caught for the first time in their shiny form during the final event: Icognito N and Icognito X. However, these are reserved exclusively for ticket holders and spawn exclusively from incense.

As you are used to from almost all events in Pokémon GO, there will also be plenty of bonuses during the finale of GO Fest. However, these also differ depending on whether you purchased a ticket or not. We have summarized what bonuses to expect below.

- 9 free raid passes when spinning at gyms
- 5 surprises at snapshots
- 5,000 XP extra when you win raids on-site
- 3 times the XP when spinning photo discs at gyms or PokéStops

- Shape changes of Shaymin possible (from 10:00 AM)
- 3 additional special researches (to receive these, you must have completed the respective previous ones)
- Special research for the habitat “Ultra Invasion: Masskito” (from 12:00 PM local time)
