What is a Spotlight Hour? This event takes place every Tuesday in Pokémon GO and spotlights a special Pokémon for one hour. In addition, there is a bonus that rounds off the event.
This week is all about Sleima. This is fitting, as the Pokémon appears more frequently during the current Sustainability Week in Pokémon GO.
Spotlight Hour with Sleima – Start Time and Bonuses
When does it start? The Spotlight Hour starts today at 6:00 PM local time. It lasts exactly one hour and ends at 7:00 PM.
Here are the bonuses: During the Spotlight Hour, spawns will be increased, and nearly every Pokémon will be a Sleima.
Additionally, there will be double Stardust for caught Pokémon. You will receive at least 200 Stardust per Pokémon. With a Star Piece, you’ll even receive at least 300 Stardust.
Is there Shiny Sleima? Yes, the Shiny version of Sleima has been available to catch in Pokémon GO for some time. You can easily recognize the difference, as the shiny version is green instead of purple:
Is the Spotlight Hour worth it? Absolutely! With Sleima, you have a Pokémon that is interesting for shiny hunters. Furthermore, it is easy to hit excellently, allowing you to quickly and effectively collect XP.
Moreover, the Stardust bonus is strong. Stardust is the most important resource in the game, as you can use it to strengthen your Pokémon. You can never have enough dust, so you should definitely take advantage of this bonus.
