In Pokémon GO, the Spotlight Hour with Shnebedeck starts today, December 29. We show you the Shinies and bonuses for this event.
What is a Spotlight Hour? This event takes place every Tuesday in Pokémon GO. For one hour, a special Pokémon is in the spotlight, and a bonus rounds it off.
In the last Spotlight Hour of 2020, Shnebedeck will appear more frequently. This fits with the Christmas event, which is currently still ongoing.
All information about the Spotlight Hour with Shnebedeck
When does the Spotlight Hour take place? As always, it starts at 6:00 PM local time. The bonuses will be active for exactly one hour.
Here are the bonuses: Of course, the main bonus is the increased appearance of Shnebedeck. Additionally, spawns will be generally increased.
Furthermore, you will receive double XP for evolving Pokémon. So instead of 1000 XP, you’ll get a full 2000 XP per evolution. If you use a Lucky Egg, you will even get 4000 XP.
Currently, there is also a bonus in the Christmas event that Lucky Eggs last one hour. So you only need to use one Lucky Egg during the event and can benefit for the whole hour.
This is how to make the most of the bonus: If you don’t need Shnebedeck anymore, you can comfortably play from your sofa, and here you can best use the bonus. Evolve Pokémon for a full hour and use a Lucky Egg during that time. You can earn over half a million XP without catching a single Pokémon or leveling up a friendship.
