What is a Spotlight Hour? This event takes place every Tuesday in Pokémon GO. You can find a special Pokémon spawning everywhere for one hour. Additionally, there is a bonus that rounds off the Spotlight Hour.
This week, Knilz is in the spotlight. The Pokémon belongs to the 3rd generation and fits the Hoenn event, which has started today.

All info about the Spotlight Hour with Knilz
When does the Spotlight Hour start? It starts at 6:00 PM local time. The event lasts exactly one hour and ends at 7:00 PM.
These are the bonuses: Spawns are increased, and Knilz will appear everywhere. You will easily be able to catch over 200 Pokémon in that hour.
As a bonus, you get double candy for catching Pokémon. You will receive 6 candies instead of 3. With a Nanab Berry, you will get even 12 candies.
There is another bonus that you can take advantage of. Since December 2020, some Pokémon yield more stardust when caught. Knilz is one of them. You will get 500 stardust instead of just 100 per Knilz.
If you use a Star Piece, you will get even 750 stardust per Knilz. When you calculate that for the 200 Pokémon you can easily catch in an hour, you will earn up to 150,000 stardust in just one hour.
Is there a Shiny Knilz? No, you cannot catch this Pokémon in its shiny form. The main bonus during this Spotlight Hour is the stardust, not the shiny form.
