Raid hour today with Reshiram – Start time and counters
When does it start? The raid hour starts today at 6:00 PM local time and lasts exactly one hour. During this time you will find legendary raids at almost all gyms.
Which counters should be used? Reshiram is of the Fire and Dragon type and is therefore vulnerable to the types Dragon, Rock, and Ground.
The best Pokémon are Rayquaza, Rameidon, and Rihornior. However, in suitable weather, other Pokémon can also be useful:
- Sunny weather: Especially use Ground-type Pokémon
- Windy weather: Dragon-type Pokémon are particularly strong
- Partly cloudy: Rock-type Pokémon are the right choice here
You can find an overview with more useful Pokémon in our counter guide to Reshiram.

How many trainers are needed? Reshiram can already be defeated by two players. With three players, it is even possible at level 25. For the raid hour, we recommend a group size of 5 to 6 players. This way, the raids go faster, and you can defeat more Reshiram within the hour.
Why Reshiram is worth it: You should take advantage of the last raid hour of Reshiram. It is the best fire Pokémon in the game and is worth your time.
