On July 27, 2022, Pokémon GO begins the new event “Hisui Discoveries”. Here at MeinMMO, we show you what spawns to expect, which Shinies will appear, what the Hyperbonus brings, and what else is included in the event.
What kind of event is this? The “Hisui Discoveries” event highlights the namesake region “Hisui”. Players may already know it from the Switch game “Pokémon Legends: Arceus”.
In the game, Hisui is an older version of the area later called “Sinnoh”. In the Hisui region, there are alternative versions of Pokémon we already know. Some of them will now make their debut in Pokémon GO.
Additionally, a new Hyperbonus has been activated that will come into effect during the Hisui event. We will introduce that to you here as well.

When does the Hisui event take place? The Hisui event starts on July 27, 2022, at 10:00 AM and ends on August 2, 2022, at 8:00 PM.
All spawns and Shinies for the Hisui event
During the Hisui event, spawns in the wild will change, but the pool of monsters in eggs and raids will also be slightly shuffled. A particular focus will be on the 7km eggs – as they contain the new Hisui forms of Fukano, Baldorfish, and Sniebel, as well as the somewhat older Hisui-Voltobal.
Due to the Hyperbonus, you can also encounter the regional Pokémon Sodamak globally in the wild and in raids. If you haven’t caught it yet, this is your chance.
Another Pokémon GO debut is Hisui-Washakwil, which will debut with a special raid day – even with a chance for its shiny form. Additionally, Icognito S will enter raids due to the Hyperbonus.

Special raid day with Hisui-Washakwil
This is the raid day: As part of the Hyperbonus, a raid day will be held on July 31, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Here, you can also encounter Hisui-Washakwil. The shiny variant of the monster can be found with an increased chance.
Additionally, on the raid day, there will be:
- Five free raid passes during and up to two hours after the event from gym photo discs
- Increased chance of XL candy from raid battles on-site
- 50% more XP for raid victories

Aside from the Hisui event, a new adventure incense has also been released. It can attract rare monsters – and even the Galar birds Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres.
