The special research “Timeless Travels” in Pokémon GO brings you TMs, XP, Stardust, and more. We show you all the tasks and rewards that are currently known.
What kind of research is this? On December 11, Pokémon GO launched the event “Hard Times” and brought many special Pokémon with it. Additionally, there is a special research that we will discuss in detail here.
Here we show you the tasks and rewards that have already been discovered by players. By now, the final steps are also known.
Timeless Travels 1/14

Stage reward: If you complete all three tasks successfully and collect the corresponding rewards, you will also receive 1,000 XP, 500 Stardust, and an encounter with Pikachu.
Timeless Travels 2/14

Stage reward: If you complete all three tasks successfully and collect the corresponding rewards, you will also receive 2,000 XP, 500 Stardust, and a Knurps.

Timeless Travels 5/14

Stage reward: You will receive 1,000 XP, 750 Stardust, and an egg incubator upon completing this step.
Timeless Travels 6/14

Stage reward: For this stage, you will receive 2,500 XP, 750 Stardust, and an encounter with Wuffels. The encounter with Wuffels is also supposed to have a chance to get a specimen that can evolve into Dark-type Wolwerock – but this is not guaranteed. The “normal” form of Wuffels is also likely to be a possible encounter.

Stage reward: Here you no longer need to complete tasks; instead, you just need to collect the rewards. Completion brings:
- 5,000 XP

- Encounter with Kaumalat
With this, the current research is completed. But new events will soon come that could bring further research. At the latest with the new season after “Timeless Travels,” another long-term research will likely be on the agenda. However, there will still be other events beforehand – such as the Lunar New Year event in February 2024.
