Pokémon GO is currently celebrating a Safari Zone in Yokosuka (Japan). Special monsters like Tropius appear more frequently in the area. But there are also rewards worldwide – and they are meant for all trainers.
A new shiny form is now active. You can catch the Shiny form for a few days now, but they are rare.
Shiny Wingull worldwide – Shiny Pelipper
During the Safari Zone in Japan, Shiny Wingull appears worldwide, which you can then evolve into Shiny Pelipper. You can already catch them now, but the spawns will be significantly increased over the weekend.
When does it start? Niantic already announced in July that trainers would be able to catch shiny Wingull worldwide during the Safari Zone in Japan. This coming weekend, on September 1 and 2, the spawn rate of Wingull will be increased.
Niantic confirmed the upcoming weekend for the spawn increase on Twitter: “Wingull, including its shiny form, will appear more frequently worldwide on September 1 and 2. This is alongside the global catching challenge from Professor Willow.”
