Tomorrow evening, on January 24, the Lunar New Year event starts in Pokémon GO. This will also feature Flampion for the first time, which you should definitely secure.
How does Flampion enter the game? The Pokémon was announced for the 7 km eggs during the Lunar New Year event. It is still unclear whether it will also spawn in the wild, but this seems likely. After all, it is not a baby Pokémon and should therefore not be exclusive to eggs.
Flampivian, the evolution of Flampion, will be quite strong, so you should secure as many Flampion as possible. We will show you its usability.
Flampivian becomes the best Fire Attacker
These are the stats: Flampion itself is not strong, which is why we only look at the stats of its evolution Flampivian:
- Attack value: 263
- Defense value: 114
- HP value: 233
- Max CP: 3105
How strong will Flampivian be: Purely based on damage per second, Flampivian is the best Fire Attacker currently in the game. Generation 5 also brings the legendary Pokémon Reshiram, which will then be even better.
In comparison to Lavados, Flampivian is defeated a bit faster. It is roughly comparable to Skelabra and Lohgock.
However, if you only go by damage, then it is the best Fire Attacker in the game and definitely a boost for your team.
Secure every Flampion: If the Fire Pokémon is indeed only included in 7 km eggs, then these eggs are worth getting again. If you also find it in the wild, then you should exchange information about spawns in your community.
A good option are also trades. The chance of Lucky Pokémon is increased during the event. So trade every weak Flampion you can find. In the end, you might even have a chance for a good Lucky Pokémon.
What happens after the event? Flampion will also remain in Pokémon GO after the Lunar New Year. So you can secure the strong Pokémon then as well.
